Linda treats Willy with kid gloves. She supports him, bolsters his self-esteem, and keeps the peace between him and their sons. Her constant queries alert us to the fact she is concerned about his well-being, his physical health, and most importantly his mental health. She reminds him to rest and tries to keep him focused on conversation and events rather than allow him the time to let his mind wander freely. Linda is the epitome of a help mate, she fills the role of a wife in every way.
