Death of a Salesman

It's been ten years since Biff quit his job with Oliver because he was afraid, he would be fired after stealing a carton of basketballs. Biff recalls Mr. Oliver offering to help him, 'Biff, if you ever need anything, come to me.' Biff thinks he can ask Oliver for $7- $10 thousand dollars to buy a ranch. Mr. Oliver barely acknowledges Biff before walking away. The meeting doesn't go well for Biff.
