Death of a Salesman

(Act 1) 12. Happy says, "I don't know what to do about him [Willy], it's getting embarrasing." To what is he referring to and what does the fact that Happy thinks this way tell you about his character?

Happy is referring to his father's condition..... he hallucinates and talks to himself. His son finds it embarrassing. This tells me that Happy isn't very compassionate.... he's selfish.
