Why doesnt Charlie sign the form that will force Mr Keating out of the school? Dead Poets Society

1. At the end the boys are asked to sign a form that will force Mr Keating out of the school. Charlie doesn’t sign this. Why not, do you think, and what happens to him because of that?

Charlie refuses to conform to what the school wants. Charlie knows a witch hunt when he sees one. He has a loyalty to Mr. Keating that prevents him from turning his teacher into a scapegoat.
