Mc allister said- show me the heart unfetted by foolish dreams and ill show you happy man but keating replied with ''but only in their dreams can men be truely free, i was always thus and always thus will be.'' what does each mean?

The first quote has already been addressed. In the second quote, we see the Keating disagrees and believes that our dreams and the ability to strive for something we believe will be attainable are the things that make us free.
