Characters Of D.C.

I need to know one sentence about each important character in the story. Can you help me?

I'm happy to try. Do you mean one sentence identifying the character? For example, for David, the title character, do you need something like the following sentence:

Copperfield, David: The character whose life, through early adulthood, the book chronicles, beginning with his birth, following his father's death, into a family of middle-class pretensions, and ending with his marriage after commencing a successful writing career.

The book names 60 of its characters; that is, Dickens identifies 60 characters by name. I'm thinking that maybe a dozen of them are far more important than the others. How many important characters do you want?

The following come to mind--16 of them:

David Copperfield
Agnes Wickfield
Mr. Wickfield, her father
Uriah Heep
Wilkins Micawber
Traddles
James Steerforth
Mrs. Steerforth, his mother
Rosa Dartle
Betsey Trotwood, David's aunt
Edward Murstone
Mr. Creakle
Dr. Strong
Annie Strong, his spouse
Dora Spenlow
Mr. Spenlow, her father
Mr. Peggotty
Pegotty, his sister
Emily
