Is Cyrano brave or boastful? Explain using the scarf incident.

Cyrano is both brave and boastful, although, we often see his parlay of words as rather foolish. The example Cyrano uses with the scarf is meant to be a taunt.... none-the-less, his words ring true. This is an example of his foolishness..... something he doesn't have to do, and something he does for no other reason than to best De Guiche.
