Cyrano de Bergerac

How would you describe Cyrano's emotions as he speaks for Chrsitian to Roxanne? Why might he have mixed feelings about what he is doing?

Although Cyrano is speaking for Christian, he is really displaying his own feelings. He delivers his speeches with such passion because he is in love with Roxanne. I think he forgets that he is speaking for Christian while he is talking but would feel like a coward and a hypocrite after.
