the white man angrily says the following to kumalo about about his workat the reformetary , "it is a wonderfull work ..a nobl..you must not think a parsons work is nobler...youn save souls..but i have souls also." why is the man angry, and what nis he trying to convey to kumalo?

The man is defending his work and purpose. He is attempting to make Kumalo understand that although his work is not based on saving the souls of young men, Kumalo shouldn't shrug it off..... as his work isn't meant to save souls, but rather, the men.
