CRY THE BELOVED COUNTRY CHAPTER 16!! PLEASE HELP! ASAP!!

One of the major concepts of this story is the hope of rebuilding a new life for the black natives. What evidence is therein this chapter that my all is beginning to see and believe in this hope?

Omg so sorry it's supposed to say kumalo. Now does it make sense?

Kumalo sees a glimmer of hope when he is introduced to the lawyer, Mr. Carmichael. Carmichael is willing to take Absalom's case pro deo, meaning at no cost. His presence and actions in the novel introduce Kumalo to a good man..... a white man, who is willing to fight for justice and befriend the many mistreated blacks in South Africa.
