Are Antipholus and Dromio friends? How do they act as friends toward each other? When strange events start

The "two" Dromios have known Antipholus since childhood. Although the characters played together since they were children, they are none-the-less separated by status. Antipholus' confusion (the Dromios are twins) leads him to blame the wrong Dromio, which adds to the confusion and the comedy.
