What did Augustine see as a figure of the city of god and of Christ Jesus?

According to Augustine the image of God in man is to be found in his soul (i.e. rational or intellectual soul). The image of the Creator, which is immortal, is immortally implanted in its immortality in man. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the "figure" of the City of God.
