Chasing Lincoln's Killer

Citing evidence from the text, explain why Ford’s Theater was an ideal place for Booth to attempt to assassinate Lincoln.

I'm sorry, I do not have my copy of the book here at home. The Ford Theatre was the perfect place to stage the crime because Booth was familiar with its employess, the layout, and he had the perfect excuse to be in attendance at the same time as the President. There would also be a theatre ffilled with people, which would create mayhem.
