Writing Myths of Our Own
Kind of Activity:
Students will be able to write imaginative narratives that connect to myth.
Common Core Standards:
To begin this activity, ask students, “What are some events that occur in nature without human involvement?” Students might say: rain, drought, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, snow, wind, plants growing, etc. Make a list of student responses on the board.
