2. Carver uses humor in showing the narrow vision of the husband. Where does he do so and how does that lessen his character against the Blind man.

The husband makes sarcastic comments as an attempt at humour. At one point he suggests taking Robert, who is blind, bowling. “Maybe I could take him bowling,” I said to my wife.
