Tennesse Williams

When we talk about American Drama we must consider Tennesse Williams as one of the most important dramat writer of the 20th Century. ¿Does his style fits completly on the gothic style, or is something different? Gothic style is closer to horror and romance. I dont find clear representing any of this things. He is more questioning the ethic and the laws impossed by the society.

I can see where it can fit in the gothic style of writing. For example a street car named desire. You have a romantic love triangle with stella blanche and stanley the theme of lost dreams and thinking that the grass is always greener on the other side.
