After Buck is kidnapped (dognapped) from his home in California, Buck slowly begins to discover his inner "wolf". Buck begins to understand the laws of man and the hierarchy of dogs. He feels the power of his wildness breaking through his domesticated slumber. Buck feels his primal canine roots grow stronger as he fights, kills, pulls the sled, and discovers the wild.
