Why is an Epsilon environment important for an Epsilon? How is this important to the brave new world?

Each ranking is made to serve a higher class thus Epsilons are important to the the Alpha's and Beta's in that they serve a specific purpose in the hierarchy. So Epsilons derive joy from simple manuel tasks and very one dimensional/superficial, almost childlike, lives.
