How is death treated in Brave New World?

All aging and dying people are sent to a hospital so that others in society do not have to witness something so "disturbing". Youth and vitality are the sought after qualities while death and sickness need to be hidden away. Children are brought to this hospital and fed ice-cream to condition them to accept this practice.
