How does Brave New World have to do with birth control?

In Brave New World, children are born and raised according to regulation by the government. Babies are "created" in the Hatchery and Conditioning Center, and the production and conditioning of embryos takes place in a laboratory. The Depo-Pervera Shot did not exist at that time.
