I think that it is eerie how many similarities we have with A.F. 632. We live in an increasingly disposable society. If something is broken, throw it away! If your relationship feels old, find a new one! Sex without intimacy is seen as a good thing. If life stresses us out, there are ant-depressants and narcotics to make us feel better. Old wise people are seen as useless and young vapid people are seen as desirable. All of these points have direct reflections in Brave New World. From Soma holidays to casual sex to a night out at the "feelies", the comparisons with A.F. 632 are seemingly endless.
