Is it possible? Probably if you know for sure what you mean by happiness.

Drugs like Soma induce feelings of complacency and false contentment or what people believe to be happiness. They dull the senses and promote dependency, in that people want to continuously be free of everyday worries. People who believe themselves to be happy don't question why they aren't. Thus, true happiness through drugs is not attainable.
