Describe Richard's experience in the saloon when he is six years old

When Richard was six-years-old, he began regularly visiting the saloon while his mother was at work. He would be for money, peek under the doors, and converse with the drunks. One day, a man dragged Richard into the saloon and ordered him to drink a whiskey. Richard got extremely drunk and was a great source of entertainment to the bar's patrons, as he shouted obscenities. Richard returned to the bar on a regular basis and eventually came to crave alcohol.
