Bhagavad-Gita

I knew lord Krishna mentioned that he is the God in Bhagavad-Gita, but did he also mentioned that one should not believe him unless he/she really experience him ?

Just wanted to make sure that I need not believe in Krishna until I experience him face to face (but keep on exploring/questioning/searching/seeking him).
