Wiglaf is one of Beowulf's relatives and a great warrior. When they are back in Geatland, Wilglaf has to help Beowulf to kill the dragon. Even though Beowulf is getting older, he thinks he has to battle the dragon alone. Wiglaf is the only warrior who doesn't desert him. Wiglaf stays with Beowulf while he's dying and then kills the dragon.
