Which weapons will Beowulf use to defeat Grendel

Beowulf won't use any weapons but his strength and wits because Grendel doesn't use weapons. Beowulf wants it to be a fair fight, and to conquer Grendel without weapons is what he believes is tghe honorable thing to do.
