How does it compare/contrast to Shield's funeral at the beginning?

A lot of treasure is put on Shield's funeral pyre and lit on fire as his body goes out to sea. Beowulf's burial was a combination funeral pyre and a mound burial. THe treasure was buried under the mound and not set to water with his body.
