How would you describe the poem's structure, and why? (You might think about the main actions or events, and divide the poem accordingly)

Beowulf is loosely divided into three parts. Each part centers around Beowulf's conflicts with Grendel, Grendel's mother and then (in part three) the dragon. This is an epic poem that features classic Anglo-Saxon heroism and codes of conduct within each spart of the poem.
