but didn't he cheat silivus while selling those flock and pasture to rosalind for more money...?

He's poor............. neither of these men have anything of their own to sell. Corin is a really nice man who tries to help those around him and even offers the couples somewhere to stay..... he does this even knowing he has no food to offer in addition to the roof over their heads.
