influence of wealth on human relationship

Oliver, Orlando's older brother, has pretty much inherited everything. This puts a huge strain on their relationship. Oliver has all the financial power and Orlando is reduced to a low status. At the beginning of the play we see Orlando upset because his brother refuses to send him to school. This has turned their relationship toxic. Wealth and power in the hands of a particular family member upsets the natural balance of these relationships.
