Oliver claims that he has recently come from a visit with Orlando, who has been wounded by an angry mother lion. He uses the bloody napkin to corroborate his story. THen Oliver launches into a story of how Orlando saved the life of his wicked brother from the lion. Oliver reveals that he is the wicked brother (now converted!)and that Orlando has fainted from his wounds. Rosalind faints upon hearing this news. When she awakes, she remembers she is supposed to be a male; males aren't supposed to faint upon hearing stories.
