I've seen this play on stage but I want to know what kind of food do they eat or would have eaten for extra credit at school. Something I could bring in. Could someone help me please?

In Elizabethan times, people generally ate stewed vegetables, so bring in a veggie pot pie to class and you should be good to go!

BTW - only the rich could afford meat, so make sure there's no meat in it, unless you want to say the meal is for the rich
