After quickly reading through both of these poems, it's obvious that there are more differences than similarities. O'Rourke's memories are happy, and it seems her purpose was to capture the "beauty" she saw in her aunts on paper. Davision's memories are different; they don't have a happy or even comfortable feel to them. He isn't commemorating people or relationship, he's simply describing a moment as he saw it.
