The sights at Pearl Harbor were beyond belief. The American Navy had been destroyed there, as well as the lives of most aboard those ships. You cannot witness that kind of attack without lasting affects..... the loss of friends, the disbelief, and the anger. My Grandfather was at Pearl Harbor, and he never spoke about it. The fact he survived haunted him for the rest of his life. He lived, he was happy, and he was a great patriot, but he never shared. Most of the survivors didn't.
