Angiosperms are flowering plants with covered seeds. Unlike aquatic plants that needed to live in water and gymnosperms that needed to live near water, angiosperms did NOT need to live near a body of water.

Mammals are warm blooded animals provided with insulation by the fact they have body hair. Their hearts and lungs were more efficient that those of previous life forms; their brains were larger and more advanced, and they had specialized teeth and limbs.
