ctl. **The BOrder A glare of Truth by Pat Mora

3. How does Mora's heritage enrich her life? Such as her views about language, what she values about Mexican and Latin American music, and what she means by the "Mexican passion not for life or about life but in life"

Mora always has a soft spot for celebrations, music, elaborate costumes and the beautiful sounds of spanish. When Mora heard Spanish being spoken, she wished she could be part of the conversation. The culture enriches Mora's American life as well. There is a fusion of sorts that takes place. There is a sense of identity that Mora finds in her heritage that completes her no matter where she is. The sounds of a group of mariachis, for example, brings tears to her eyes, they complete her identity.
