What I Can Contribute to Fuqua's Culture Anonymous

I believe that my nonprofit experience will allow me to bring a level of depth and understanding to the field in which I eventually hope to work, as well as bring a unique perspective to my class. The importance of community or public service and philanthropy have been ingrained in me since my early school days, and I have tried to increase my understanding of educational inequity thus far in my career. I hope that my past experiences will allow me to add to the diversity of my class at Fuqua.

Over the past two years, I have immersed myself in the local community and worked to further my involvement outside the education field. I am an active member of the Junior League, which has deeply broadened my network within the community. As a League member, I have served on committees to help bring an awareness of health and nutrition to young girls. Broadening the impact on my community is something I would continue to do at Fuqua.

The Junior League has also offered me exceptional opportunities to build my leadership abilities. This past year, I served as a co-chair of our annual fashion show.
