Equality is forced to conform to what is expected of him by the state. Equality had always been a curious and intelligent child. Unfortunately his collectivist society demands that he conform to what they tell him to be. The Council of Vocations assigns him a job as a Street Sweeper even though Equality aspires to be with the wise scholars.
