Anthem

 Aside from the very rare exceptions there is literally no opposition to leaders in the society. Why is this? What ideas must the people in this society have accepted to live a life of obedience, drudgery, and fear?

I need help for my essay and I have to write a literary analysis over this question, so if someone could answer the question....?

Really you are talking about a lot of dystopia like themes. Your question applies to many famous books like Orwell's 1984 to Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games. The destruction of hope is the first order of business for autocratic dystopias. Beyond the fear and intimidation, people must literally feel no hope is left. Autocratic ultra-fascism seeks to mould people into the type of subservience they want. The aim is to instil a reality into people that can be changed by State at will. People accept whatever they are told. In anthem, people accept there is nothing new to be learned. In 1984, Winston Smith must accept that 2+2=5 or whatever O'Brien wants it to be.

what would be a good thesis statement for this question?

You pretty much have to formulate that yourself. Consider what you are arguing and make a statement on it.

IM IN NEED FOR A THESIS PLEASE!!!!!! at least an example to for it to give me ideas that continue the essay

Wait you need a thesis for the anthem essay contest?
