The dog

The dog is the main character in the poem "The Dog and his Master’’. This figure is also one of the narrators in the poem and he narrators two of the three stanzas. The dog is fiercely loyal to his master and would do anything to take care of him. As depicted, this animal also knows which people want to profit from his master and he makes it his life mission to take care of the master.

The master

The master is also one of the characters in the poem "The Dog and his Master’’ but he does not appear as a narrator. The Master does not talk and not much is said about him except for the fact that he is protected by his loyal dog.

Adam

Adam is the main character in the poem "Adam Posed’’. Adam is presented as being a hard-working man in the beginning who encounters Eve for the first time. He does not have a voice but he is given the task to name and take care of the new creature, the woman.

The woman

The woman is another character who appears in the poem "Adam Posed’’. She is presented in a rather negative way as a character who manages to seduce the man.
