Why did Napoleon attempt to take out Boxer along with the other animals he ordered to kill? | Animal Farm|

Why did the dogs attack him? We can tell that it was planned because when Boxer deflects the dogs Napoleon changes expression and sharply orderes Boxer to let go of the dog under his hoof. But why was he attacked when he was so loyal to Napoleon?

Boxer had doubts about Snowball's version of history so Napoleon sends his dogs out to teach him a lesson in obedience. Boxer easily kicks the dogs away. Please submit each of your questions one at a time.
