What is the significance of moving into the farmhouse?

The pigs move into the farmhouse makes the other animals uncomforatable. They remember that there was some type of edict that forbade such an action.

it shows that the pigs have lost all equality and think of them selves as higher than the other animals. they have essentially taken over and because they think that they are constantly right they get the most luxory (the farmhouse)
