What is "the big lie" in chapters 1,2and 3?
my son has to answer this question for his book report and we dont understand what it is referring to.

The "big lie" is the seven commandments.................. the animals are convinced by propoganda that everyone is equal and will have a share of the "pie" so to say......... this is a terrible lie, and in the end all of the commandments are re-written to reflect this.

well....you see they are wrong. he lied to them and told them they are all animals. truth is that they are actually aliens from planet farm
