What happens to Snowball in chapter 5-6 and who is responsible for it?

In Chapter Five, Snowball is removed from his position and chased off the farm. Throughout Chapters Five and Six, Snowball becomes the scapegoat for anything that is questionable or goes wrong. Napoleon and Squealer work together.
