The song points a vivid picture of the day of when the animals are finally set free of man, and all the symbols of slavery, such as whips and spurs are gone.it appeals to their dreams and a more prosperous future, an abundance of food and the absence of cruelty,
and the need for hope, to keep an individual from giving u.
