In Chapter 8| What is happening to the commandments every time the animals look them up?

Squealer keeps altering the commandments. They are changed to support Napoleon's dictatorship. The sixth commandment, for example “No animal shall kill any other animal” has been changed to: “No animal shall kill any other animal without cause.”
