how does propaganda influence what the animals believe

i need to know how the leaders used to propaganda and words to influence the beliefs of the other animals

The animals were ignorant and uneducated, thus, they believed what they were told. Leadership used threats to keep any of the animals that did question their motives or propaganda from speaking out. Thus, the animals were ignorant and complacent.
