Napoleon keeps to himself and has trained the pups to be guard dogs. He begins to trade with the farmers, even though it was originally decided that this would not happen. Later in the chapter, he pronounces the death sentence on four pigs and three hens...... who've done nothing, but who are coerced into confessions.
