Most of the animals buy into the rhetoric that Napoleon spews out, largely through his propaganda mouthpiece Squealer. They abjectly become slaves believing in the rhetoric of animal patriotism and nationalism of the farm. They should really feel used, abused, and manipulated; they should have another rebellion: this time against Napoleon.
