Animal Farm Novel

The pigs take on more and more human qualities as the novel progresses in order to illustrate the way they use propaganda, education, knowledge, and methods of improving themselves to bring the other animals into submission. They manipulate the other animals to believe that equality makes tham all the same, and by using these methods they keep them ignorant to the events that are happening around them. "Ignorance is bliss" would describe it.
